Yes Kalaloch is great. Small campsite but right overlooking the ocean. Has dump and water. $16.

My new DRW and camper on the truck the first time.

Potholes State Park near Moses Lake will accomodate your rig.

I've also camped at Potholes and Dosewallips. Potholes, no problem for your rig, but you'll be bored as snot if you don't bring a boat, jet ski's or a large amount of alcohol. You can rent jet ski's right outside the park gate, but that guy is REAL proud of his sleds. Your trailer will not fit in your space with your MH, it will have to park in the cul-de-sac of your campsite. Look at an online campsite map, it will make more sense.

Dosewallips, I dunno if it will accommodate your rig. The spaces I've used definitely would not with a trailer.

It occurs to me that we may have misinterpreted the (apparently disinterested- no more input) O.P.'s original post.
He says:
O.P. wrote:

Usually we take our camper in the summer months, but this time we need to pull our trailer & will be traveling with a 40ft motorhome.

He doesn't SAY he's towing the trailer with the motorhome, though I believe some of us think that he is.

It's my belief that he's in fact caravanning with someone driving the motorhome.

Obviously, there are plenty of places for such a group to camp in Washington State, THE Best State For Year 'Round Camping in The Whole U.S.of A.

But absent any further input from him, I guess it doesn't really matter...

I do need to clarify!! Usually I take our truck camper camping (99%) of the times!!.But I unload it & put in the barn for the winter. We keep a 27ft travel trailer out at my elderly mothers place that we stay in once or twice a week. Basically we wanted to tow this for a Presidents Weekend. My Sister & Brother in law have a 40ft motorhome that would be going with us this time. I know I am a little embarassed admitting that a motorhome is going with us. We were just wanting to go somewhere for the weekend, I like boondocking, but I know you can't do this with a motorhome!!. Actually the suggestion of Howard Miller Park, (private) would be fine. I could live with a private park (I guess) for a weekend!. Thanks for all your responces & no I am not from CA, lived here all my life!. Know about the NW winter weather. We don't need power or sewer hookups, etc. Anyway thanks again!

FYI, Howard Miller Steelhead Park isn't a private campground- it's owned and operated by Skagit County.

And it's very nice- right on the river, too...

Yup, the Fall Colors Caravan stays at one of its sub parks that is technically part of Howard Miller, Sauk primitive campground, however, it's closed this time of year.

See, I thought YOU were rollin' the MH, and pulling some kind of car/cargo/flatbed trailer behind it...

When we go jeepin, several of my buddies do that--anywhere from 37 to 42' MH's, with a car trailer of some kind behind them.

Me, I roll the TC with a flatbed trailer, or the Toyhauler when I'm feeling rich in the fuel-budget department.

You know, thinking of Howard Miller Park reminds me of another nice one...Flowing Lake County Park in Snohomish County.
I've camped there twice...it's pretty nice, open year 'round, and just a few miles north of the Fairgrounds at Monroe.

Here in NW Louisiana, Lake Bistineau SP has gone to the State Trooper. A retired State Trooper has become the park super and is strict as strict can be. Has his people writing tickets for any infraction, no matter how small.
I live on Lake Bistineau so I don't use this SP but now you know. It might be to make up for the money lost to the economy, who knows? I go to the park at Caney Lake 35 miles from my house just north of Minden, La. Yes right now thru the end of April is prime camping here.

Seems like a nice park, but a really LONG drive from the State of Washington, especially for a weekend trip...

Or...is it possible you meant to post this in State Parks?
