Pulled the trigger on the TST 507 system. Only got the starter kit plus 2 sensors, giving me a total of 6, that takes care of the trailer. I'll spend the other $300 at a later date for the truck.
Just finally glad to have a system. Looks like a good one at a good price.

I have the TST system and love it. I think they are the best out there. Great service too. Found the 8 sensor package about $60 cheaper at one of their distributor sites ... Plug It Rite

TST 507 system can't be beat knowing the excellent warranty and customer service. I ordered mine direct from TST one day and received it the next. Had a question on the set-up, called and got someone on the phone in seconds that answered all my questions.

I bought the EEZRV Products TPMS system. Programming was a snap. Sensors are accurate. I had a couple questions and when I called EEZRV, I talked to one of the owners who told me to call anytime, including weekends if I had any further questions.

I tested the unit by removing a sensor and it sounded an alarm very quickly. I will report back later this year with how they hold up.

Packaging was quite nice:

I noticed the EEZRV system does not have a remote antenna like the TST does. I wonder how it works on a longer rig like mine. 4 door, one ton, long bed, dually with a 36 foot, triple axle 5th wheel.

I have not been very happy with my pressure pro system. Too many failures and spotty realiablity. If I had to do it over I would go with a different system.

They do have a remote (booster) antenna: TPMS SYSTEM TRANCEIVER (BOOSTER)

My RV is a 36 foot Class A and I am pulling a Town & Country minivan and do not need the booster. The EEZRV people told me when I ordered it that I probably wouldn't need it but I could always order it if I needed it. I think it would work with your configuration without the booster.

So far, I am very happy with this system. I am currently on my first trip with it. When I am done, I will have driven about 1000 miles....not bad for a first test.

Do you have them attached to your mini van? If you only have them on the coach then it wouldn't be the same thing as my rig. I think The rear tires on my trailer would be further away from the unit than your tires are and my signal would have to go through a lot more metal.

Yes, I do have the sensors on both my dolly and the rear wheels of the van. No problem getting a signal. I bought and installed the ten tire system....6 for the coach and 4 for the toad! When you consider that the Town & Country van is about 16' long plus about another 4' for the dolly, that makes the rear tires of the van about 55' away from the monitor!

crickey, The TMS wouldn't have helped me in one case, I lost the thread off one of my 5er tires and never lost the first pound of air in my tire....next morning, tire was in the bed of my truck and was still inflated to same psi that it was when I checked it the morning before heading home...In my instance, it wouldn't have helped me, but I can see where it would definitely help if a tire started losing air pressure...no doubt..

That's where the temperature reading would have helped. A failing tire is going to generate a lot of heat and you can monitor that with the same TPMS.

Guess I'm more like crickey, that was the first tire I ever had a problem with in 40 yrs of towing....just can't bring myself to springing for $500+ for a monitoring system...though, it would probably save you that and more if it keeps you from having a wreck or causing damage to one's 5er....Didn't know the monitoring device you were talking about monitored both air and temps....Thought it just monitored psi..like most do...

Figure out the price of a blowout? Damage it can do to your unit? Plus the slight chance of pulling you out of your lane into on coming traffic? You and your family or someones family being in danger because of a tire that this could have caught?

I know most of the above is not going to happen, but for me I will be adding it to our TV and the camper. Because it could keep a blowout from ripping the sides and floor out of a camper. Plus save us from a wreck.
Wish every tire in the country had to have these. It would keep so many wrecks from happening. 78 year old lady we go to church with, her's sounded off. Gave her enough time to slow down and get off the road. Tire exploded as soon as she got on the shoulder of the interstate in Rush Hour traffic in Memphis Tn. I'm sure it saved her life and others. As she drives way to fast and dont' think she had a chance with a steering tire blowout.
