I haven't, but can see where this might not be a bad idea. Certainly would give me a bit more piece of mind staying there for a month, knowing I am not camping with registered felons or sex offenders.

Cash or a debit card may be great for month one, but what about the next month, and the next, and the next? As previously posted, many states have laws that protect the tennant from eviction once the stay has exceeded 30 days. Lose a site for six months to a bad tennant, all the while furnishing them utilities because it is illegal to shut them off , while your eviction proceedings inch their way through the courts will sour you on taking any chances with a long term tennant.
