To me this is one of those features that Winnebago doesn't do a great job of explaining or marketing. Our dealer explained it when we bought our Sightseer and honestly it was one small reason we bought it. Their online explanation doesn't make it clear if it covers the water heater & the rear coach heat or not. In our case it covers both. The rear heat has only one adjustment, high or low. If it's cool outside I just leave it on low the whole trip and rear passengers are fine, running it on high for any length of time seems to roast them out.

Thanks every one for the help . It is a brand new coach and it has black hoses that go around the water heater and the same under the bed so the hoses go back under the bed for some reason. It is a Winnebago Sightseer 35J 2011.It also has a fan switch in front that says rear heater that lights up green when on and has a low and high setting. What I am asking is front on the car heater dose it have to be in vent or heat mode for the rear heater under the bed to work. I turned it on our last trip and the wife went back and it was blowing cold air .

No, just turn your Rear Heater switch to low or high. Its completely separate from the dash car heater thermostatic control. Lots of wrong responses here!
