We got about an inch of snow this morning in the Tulsa area and I was dreading the drive to work. Our 9 month old puppy got up this morning and saw snow for the first time. He sniffed it, then frolicked in it for awhile. The joy he had in playing in the snow put a whole new perspective on it for me. The drive into work wasn't as bad as I feared--DH actually brought me in--and I smile when I think of Toby in the snow this morning. Isn't it funny how one small thing can change your whole outlook on the day?
The "Oklahoma Blizzard of '12" hit Sunday night, dropping about three inches of snow on our home in SW Oklahoma. By Monday afternoon, it was almost all gone.
Oh, nice touch on the puppy.

We enjoyed the snow, too. It was much more welcome than the snow that started on January 31st last year. Everyone in Oklahoma remembers that week I bet.
Congrats on your puppy Tamra!

Thanks GM and Cat! Toby is a handful, but so cute and sweet that you can't bear to scold him. He tries so hard to be good and sometimes the devil just gets the better of him.
I agree with you. The snow "storm" this week was SO much better than the 18" we got last year at the end of January/beginning of February. If that is the biggest blizzard we get this year, then I'm good with it. It is so funny living here in Oklahoma in the winter. The slightest mention of snow and everyone goes to the grocery store for bread and milk! I don't remember that happening in Nebraska! Perhaps we are all a bit paranoid after last year's blizzard.
