As I was reviewing the "benefits" of belonging to Good Sam, I was reminded that product testing was allegedly a benefit offered to members. Would you please tell us if you have ever been sent a product to test, and if so, what was it? Thanks!

I joined in 1999 and have gotten tons of junk mail for insurance and on and on, don't forget all the ads from Camping World. Highways magazine is now just a catalog for them. A product to test? NOPE

I did. I am a iPhone user and Good Sam sent me a protective Otter Case for the phone. I was asked to use it for a bit then to write a review. It is a very nice product by the way.

Never got a thing and when I ask I was told that I had not been selected yet.

We got a hot dog griller thingy for over an open fire. Since we don't live in an area that routinely allows open fires it was a bust and DH got angry. Nothing since!

A few years back I was sent an LED flashlight and a grey tank deodorizer to test. I still have and use the flashlight.
