That is awesome!
We have been talking about getting a golf cart for camping this summer too. I can't afford a new one, so a used one is on the short list.
Any tips on how to buy a project like you did?
What model, year, etc?
GREAT JOB BTW!

Well, I wanted a project, as I have been going stir crazy this winter. I am in asphalt construction, and I only plow snow in the winter, and I have not done very much of that this winter. Not knowing a whole lot about golf carts, I wanted something mechanically good, and cosmetically rough! I found this Yamaha that had a fresh engine rebuild, so this fit the profile nicely!
I will have to say, these things are not cheap!! this is an older golf cart....its a 1985 yamaha G2. Just dont get one too old, or an unpopular model, as parts are hard to find. This G9 is still a pretty popular model, and parts are easy to come by. I prefer gas, as a tank of gas will go 100-150 miles! Never have to worry about batteries, and charging them, or even running out of a charge!
Ill sell you this one!! lol

I am just waiting for them to be delivered! Ordered them yesterday and should be here later this week! I also have a radio to put in it, and want to get a back seat.

I have a 5" lift I put on it, with a 21" tire on a 10" rim. Love the difference!!
