I'd rather take my chances with nuclear fallout/muggers/terrorists/tornadoes than sleep in THAT thing. And somehow, I suspect it's no match for a good tornado..... unless it's bolted to the basement floor. And on edit - you'd better pray the basement doesn't flood, or this thing *could* be your coffin.

If they waterproof it and put wheels under it, they would have a very compact camper. The big plus to that is, you would have the best excuse to not take anyone with you camping

Didn't they have something on board a spacecraft similar to that in a movie once? IIRC, Charlton Heston starred in it. But one of the beds had a leak and the little hotty in it grew old, wrinkled, and croaked.
Bonus question: Name that movie.

Bullet proof up to .357 magnum. Terrorists come armed with 7.62 x 39. This thing won't protect against that. I think I would rather have a silent alarm, an underground bunker, a gas mask with several filters, and a 12 gauge with slugs. It would be cheaper, but not as stylish.

I would hate to think what would happen if you needed medical attention and were locked in that thing.

I don't think I'd buy stock in this company for a few reasons:
2000 pounds distributed across 55 square ft.—that could be too much for some house construction (about 35 pounds per square foot).
Though you would have to consider the weight of the furniture in the room too, that would likely be minimal since the smallest recommended room size is approximately 16' x 16'!
Many homes’ interior doors won't provide 34.5 inches of clearance; therefore, doors may have to be removed and also door frames if necessary in order to install this in a “normal house”.
You’re protected on the inside as long as the guy outside doesn't cut your power supply – I didn't read anything about having a "protected" internal generator. If the bad guy pulls the plug, all he has to do is wait for the people inside the bed to "come up for air".
Considering the price, perhaps the "door problem" and the structural integrity of the house may not be an issue because it targets “mansion-type homes” but how long can you stay housed inside it?
It may “un-intentionally” eliminated your ability to quickly remove yourself from an upcoming threat—at least it should have periscope on it or something that allows you to see what's going on outside (maybe I missed that part ).

Now, if you added some lifting eyes to: 1) transport you to the cemetery and 2) in one continuous motion, lower you into your burial vault, then you could be talking some real sales appeal!
Edit: added one sentence.
