Just wanted to introduce myself to the Class A group. I have been on the forum for a long time, but we are moving from a class C to a class A. Yay! So excited to pick up our brand new Thor ACE 29.1 next week. Hurry up, summer! I can't wait to pick up new tricks that may be specific to a class A. Happy camping, all.

Please don't worry. It is a very short step. You will acclimate in no time. All you have to worry about is your weather up there. Come and see in North East Florida, we would love to see youall.

I think you will just love the Class A.
Seems like so much more room and a picture window when you are driving.

It would be great if you could post some first impressions after heading out on a couple trips. So many people wonder about whether to go "A" or "C" that your fresh insight might be interesting to all of us. No matter what you are driving, though, ain't it great just to be out there.

We are new to the RV life, but went to a show and bought a Thor Ace 29.2 a few days ago. Glad to see other people jumped into the pool as well. We plan on going local the first few times so we can see what we need or want. Would love to hear how others experience their new RV's and we want to learn from others. We are brand spanking new at this.

You are sure to enjoy your new MH. We jumped in to a class A in 2006, flew from Louisiana to NY and picked it up. Planned for a 4 day trip to drive it home. I was concerned about driving it for the first time. I had driven large trucks and such several times. But this was different. Things went so smooth and I enjoyed driving it so much it took us almost two weeks to reach home. We took several side trips to see things along the way. Now we look forward to going camping every chance we get. I also have a class C I take in the woods to deer hunt and to the river and lakes for fishing. Wife does not like it, after the time she has spent in the Class A. I try to remind her of the tent days but she doesn't give in. So if and when she goes on a fishing trip, I pick a spot acceptable for the Class A and away we go.
