My MH has been sitting Idle since August now im getting the bug since Feb is almost over should I start the MH and let it run for awhile or is it better to just leave it alone until spring.

If you are going to start it just running the engine isn't getting the whole job done. You need to get it moving down the road to exercise the entire drive train and rolling gear. Also knocks the rust off the disk brakes rotors.

Now the generator is different. I run my every couple of weeks with an electric heaters pulling power as a load source to keep it happy.

Yes, if you are going to start any engine, gasoline or diesel, you need to run it long enough and under enough load to get the OIL, not just coolant up to operating temperature.

That normally equates to 30 or so highway miles.

Same applies to a generator-- run it with at least 50% load to achieve the same moisture-shedding temperatures.

I run my MH at the storage yard, for 30 minutes every 30 days all winter long. Also run the generator for the same period and have a large electric heater, so the generator has some load on it.
Don't have the option of taking it out for a drive, but it sure makes me feel good, that maybe spring is coming.

Do you not have 2 hours a month with no snow or ice on the road to where you could beak away and drive it as you should.

My motor home slumbers from November to late April in its garage. In late April we de-winterize it. This means the engine and generator are started and warmed up after their 5 month slumber. This has worked quite well for 12 years.
