We are looking to replace the driver and passenger captains seats in our Class A motorhome.
There are so many manufacturers to choose from, it is very difficult to know who might provide the best product for a reasomable price.
I am looking for input from anyone who might have pruchased these items and recommended manufacturers.
Thanks

We replaced our original captains chairs with Flexsteel units. We ordered them on the web. They have many styles and price points.
They also have ready to ship models available in stock upholstery. We first ordered their ultra leather samples and then selected the color we wanted.
The price was reasonable, the comfort and quality are excellent The chairs just bolt your existing base, so whatever power or manual function the original chairs had will be repeated.
They also had chairs with power leg rests which would have been wonderful for the co-pilot, but I don't recall if they were part of the ready to ship line up.

I just finished a complete redo of the inside furnture, flooring and fridge. I bought all furniture from http://www.discountvantruck.com/rvhighbackcaptainsseats/motorhomefurnitureDeleon.htm
Prices were very reasonable and all bases were reused.

I've purchased captains chairs for two different RV's from Discount. They will custom build your choice of seats with your choice of fabric or Ultra-leather. Since my last set had the integral seat belts, I bought two DeLeon Is seats. My Flexsteel seats were so bad after 20,000 miles that I gave them away to a member on this forum for free, complete with electric bases. I bought entirely new assemblies from Discount. I dealt directly with Ivas Berzins at DiscountRV and received great service. Since they build the seats at their factory, they will do custom work with little or no upcharge.

My drivers seat is against the dinette and won't slide back very far. Have you seen a seat with a 'thin back' just to gain a couple of inches?

You may contact Ivas Berzins at DiscountRV but keep in mind that driver's seats do have to meet NHTSA requirements(or whatever government agency is concerned with safety) so it may limit what they can manufacturer. I know my new seats, with the built in seat belts had to be matched with my VIN to insure that they complied with the regs.
