I've bought a lot of accessories for my camper and seen many other but for the life of me I don't know what the 3 triangle/propeller looking things are on top this guys roof. Are they some kind of antenna? He was not at home when we were leaving or I would have just asked him. I then saw some on another camper on the way home. It's been several years since I've been to an RV showroom floor, I'm feeling out of touch.

They are vents.....the design helps pull the fumes from the tanks up the tube, so as to reduce any odors in the RV while driving it.
Pretty nice design, easy installation, and not very expensive. You can get them at CW, I think?

Naaahhhhh - They're inter-terrestrial communications devices. This guy is communicating with true aliens (not just the illegal type) way out there in outer space! Report him immediately!
Notice they're all pointed the same way? That's because the distance is so great it takes all 3 of them in synch to maintain the link.
You and you alone may be responsible for saving the world!
And if we make through another night, THANK YOU and have a nice day.
(Yep, it's cocktail hour.............)

Thanks for the quick response, if I would have seen them from the backside with the hole I would have figured it out. Great idea if you need them.
The breather cap on mine was knocked off by a small tree limb a long time ago. I simply put a screen over it and held it down by a hose clamp around the pipe. It breathes really well, it does catch an insignificant amount rainwater.

I put these on my motor home, they were branded "Vortex" They work very well, they swivel and always head into the wind. Biggest problem I had with them, I used to cover my M/H during the hot summer months and these buggers had to be padded or they would wear a hole in the cover. I split a swim noodle and put that over the fin and fixed the problem.

OK, if these are pulling air out of the tanks expecially as you drive where does the air come from? Throught the sink/shower water traps?

Good question
They probably don't actually suck air out of the tanks, I would say they just vent the fumes in a more efficient manner.
Hopefully someone who has them installed will let us know if it pulls the water out of the traps.
