You are never too old to dream.... ah! the memories of doing new things and showing off the projects. A lot of other people would want one too.

Think about design and fabrication along with the interesting use of space and materials

This type of system could most easily be done with a good CAD program and a mill... it would be easy to adapt projects to the users needs... and cut away excess material to lighten the load.

Swiss Room in a box

I could do with organized storage in the back seat area of the truck... and don't need for them to be highly secure.

I have seen a couple of interesting projects wher storage boxs were installed in the back seat of trucks hauling campers... they are for all purposes permanant... and the back doors don't swing open far enough to get an aluminum box thru them that is big enough to fill the space. Drawers won't work because of the trucks doors.

And their has to be an under structure to level the box over the humps and bumps of the floor...

Another use of the system might be a dash desk/computer stand for the laptop with navagation programs. To remove mine requires a screw driver and a little time.

....Weymard, I thought I was to old, too; however, after watching the video demo, I feel like 20 again

Sleepy: thanks for Posting. I remember watching this product demo last year. A remarkable design. It reminds me of how computer data files are compacted (ZIPped). The Europeans are masters at using limited space, and designing furniture/interior storage/furniture in new and innovative ways (look at Ikea's room displays; you could live extremely well in a 15 x 20 foot home with 9-foot high ceilings, as Ikea demonstrates!).

This concept can def. be ported over to truck campers; get rid of all the 18th century cabinetry, hellacious use of space and bench seating in the existing RV (not all RVs, but most), and implement this concept, and I'll bet you (we the user, and the manufacturers) could save materials, space, weight and truck camper volume (i.e. downsize), maximize profit, everyone wins.

That looks like a 'boxed set' version of an old 'Tear Drop' camper trailer. Might make you scratch your head when it comes time to, put it away.

Things RV, are always intriguing.

"A place for everything and everything in its place". When we were first married in 1960, we began our wandering ways in a VW Campmoblie, then to a 41' Sailing Yacht, and now our TC. We appreciate the "Swiss Room" and could we turn back time would have one for our CRV, but these days it is comforting to know that the bed is made, the cocktails easily poured, we're all here romantics to the core, and that design is a humdinger. Thanks for posting it. The Swiss Army Knife was a nice touch.
