Apple has a worldwide forum (called "communities") for all of their products on their website.
https://discussions.apple.com/index.jspa
The forums (communities) used to be a little easier to navigate (in my opinion), but you can still usually find answers to just about any question.
Manuals, videos, tech specs - a ton of information is available from their site. I'm sure there are other forums out there, but I have always just gone there and have had good success in finding what I'm looking for.

A forum is only as good as its participants and the amount of traffic it generates. I find the MacRumors.com forum that kind of place.

If your Apple products (hardware or software) are fairly new, take a look at the Apple support site. There are many articles and tutorial video clips.

If your questions are not answered there, then try the forums mentioned above.
You can also Google a brief description of the problem.
