2007 Diesel Fleetwood Expedition. On a trip this week we froze as we drove. Our dash heat just didn't seem to keep us warm. Any ideas?I checked the engine temp, its 190 & heat out of vents is 100. I thought about insulating the pipes, but can't get to them. Is this common with pushers?

I have a gasser class A and I thought that the cab heater was trying to heat the whole 35 feet, so I got a blanket and as a temp. fix taped it to the celing with (what else)Duct tape. that way the heater only had to heat about the size of a car, worked!
I don’t need anger management-I just need people to stop pissing me off.

Check the Evans Tempcon Electronic Water Control Valve . Chances are that it has stopped the flow of Coolant through Your Heater.
They are expensive to replace, so I installed a Bypass with a simple Brass On Off Valve.
In the Winter ,I keep it Fully open. In Summer Closed!
It isn't as convenient but does the job.
I leave the original "Electronic" Valve connected so as not to confuse the Computer or the DW!

A lot of people run the RV furnace for additional heat.
Same issue in the summer the dash AC is not adequate to cool the whole coach so we run the generator and coach AC units.

Definitely a problem. Temp measured at the dash vent is usually 140-160 degrees. Measure the temperature of both heater hoses. They should both be too hot to hold onto for very long, and similar in temerature. If one is much warmer, probably a plugged up heater core.
If they are both hot, the problem is in the heater, possibly a temp blend door sticking partially open.

We found that our gassers kept the whole coach warm (Winnebagos with motoraide) but our diesel is not nearly as warm.

DPs have very long hoses between the heat source (engine) and the heat exchanger in the dash, most rigs hoses are uninsulated causing quite a bit of heat loss. Water that starts out at 170ºF can be way lower temp by the time it gets to the front, in addition the coil in the dash isn't 100% effective either leaving the air coming out temperate at best.
I ran the furnace bringing the rig home over Wolf Creek Pass last fall after trying unsuccessfully to stay warm with the dash heat. Then did research and found the above explanation. Other issues can add to the issue, blend doors and cold air leaks but many DPs just have poor heat.
One + for a front engine rig I guess.

We have the same problem in our coach. We are going to experiment with some type of thermal curtain that we hang from the ceiling just behind the cockpit.

I put up a curtain rod right behind the driver and hung a thin curtain on it floor to ceiling and all the way accross. We close it and are warm

Steve X-2, or when I drove over the road (retired now) we put a diaper (cover) over the outside of the radiator.
