Very nice, also nice to have a son who seems to listen to his mother.

If I remember correctly a swivel store is a plastic, twice the height rack system, that has less than 50% plastic slides, thus requiring empty side space, so to allow a sideways pivot. Advertized on TV as get 2 for only addition of a S/H charge to the primary S/H charge. IMHO a waste of space(due the side space needed to be left open) and not something you would show a picture of.

Very nice and WELL DONE. For us we take a ton of spices since DW cooks like we are at home and found that taking the small like 1" high McCormick spice plastic containers filled with the spices we need and kept in one of the small plastic bins (about 4"x6") works best for us. I would guess we have like 25 to 30 spices in that basket.

If anyone would like my son to make them one or two, I'm sure he'd be glad to for the price of the wood and slides. And no, this is not what he does for a living, LOL. Right now, he's cutting a board out of my dining table to make it narrower and then he's going to cut 8" from the end and make it a drop leaf. He just loves working with wood.
Since we're fulltimers, we need to use space as efficiently as possible.
We started out with the little plastic containers, wrapped with a strip of velcro and then stuck on the strips you see on the door. Worked for a couple of weeks and then they started falling off. Might have worked better if we had used heavy duty velcro.

It's a white plastic spice rack that was an "as seen on tv" item. It has a plastic tray that the spices go in that pulls out, much like the one he made.
It's very nice, but it will only fit one size bottles and I keep mine in much larger bottles.

I do most of my cooking outside so I mounted a spice rack just inside my door so I can reach it without going inside. For the rare times I cook inside I can still get the spices I need.

We need something like that. We use a lot of difference seasonings. Right now they're in one of those small plastic baskets from the Dollar Store. When I need one I have to take the basket down and start looking through them.

I purchased two of those "as seen on TV" racks at Walmart for my home and they won't fit in my kitchen cabinets. Maybe in my camper.

Hi, my spices are limited to salt and pepper and I just bought a new shaker that holds both. Your son did a fantastic job making your spice racks, I like them.
