In Arizona elevation is everything to me! I prefer it warm and don't stay anywhere over 1000' so Western Arizona is the place for me. If you like warmth Bullhead City to Yuma or somewhere in between.

Buena Tierra RV in Casa Grande has enormous sites but no pool etc. in the desert but there are others , one is in town near the Walmart but frankly more than a week in Casa Grande would bore us...Phoenix/Mesa has tons of 55+ large RV camps but avoid Tempe..that is in a pretty seedy area.

Casa Grande seems to be the rising star. Escapees from California,Mexicans, and Snowbirds. More vibrant from what we have seen.
It seems to be a little cheaper in Casa Grande than Tucson and a heck of a lot less d....usty and congested.
It appears the RV parks are about full, from the road, anyways. For that matter Arizona is a bout full of Snowbirds
We're about half way between right now. Pitchao Peak or whatever the name is. About half full.
Highest temp we've sen is about 67. Some snow on the peaks around Tucson and west of Tombstone. Forty five to fifty five at night.

We are in Palm Creek RV and Golf resort in Casa Grande and have stayed here for 5 years now. We used to spend time in California or along the Colorado river but decided to spend the whole three months here this year.
It has just everything you ever wanted to do and more.Check it out on

Casa Grande for me. Lots more stuff to do during the winter rather in Yuma.
