Congratulations on the new AF. We have the 1150, 2010 and love it. Spent the last 2 days polishing that "baby." In one of the posts someone mentioned installing the glow steps. My question is: has anyone that owns the 1140 or 1150 installed that step? We would like to but given the information from Torklift it doesn't appear we can install it and still use the slide out tray. They said that it takes 2 1/2 inches for mounting the bracket and there's only approx 1 inch between the bottom of the door and the framework for the slide out tray. Mounting it to the bumper won't help with entering the camper because the step from the bumper into the camper is the problem. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I added the glow step and mounted the bracket to the bumper, for the same reason that you indicated, not enough room between lower door sill and slide out tray door. Not sure if your problem with the bumper step is height related or width related. To help tremendously with the width issue and to give persons a wider foootprint when entering or exiting, I came up with this mod. I used Northwoods factory add on step, just reversed it and built an attachment to slide under and widen the step. It also helped out by taking some of the total height away since it is raised up and off the bumper. The whole package really gives us a secure feeling when exiting the TC. My wife loves it. Maybe you can get the idea from the attached photo.
If Im not mistaken, I thought Glow Step had a bracket that does work for mounting just under the door. If I recall I think Mello Mike installed one on his Wolf Creek.
Sorry, dont mean to hijack the original OP's thread.

Thanks for the info. Sorry, but I wasn't able to open the pix but think I've got the idea. Going to call Torklift to see if they do have another bracket. If you wouldn't mind, I'd greatly appreciate it if you would be so kind as to e-mailing me the pic. plbjorn@aol.com

Again, thank you! Lee
