Don't buy an RV. You will be paying at least 50 cents for gas every mile you drive it, 30 bucks a night to park it in what is basically a parking lot far from the things you want to see, maintenance, tires, taxes, and on and on, and on some more. They are a waste of money. Get an economical car that gets around 40 mpg, drive to your destinations and stay in great hotels for less. Take cruises or fly to a European vacation on six months worth of payments or 1 years worth of depreciation. I wish I had followed my own advice here.

I got some of the same advice 6 years ago when I bought a place in the Mtns, on the river. Maybe should'a listened? But I enjoy it. And I guess I can't take it with me.

In fact, I want a DP that is 10 to 15 years old, so I can put "PERMANENT" license plates on it, and never have to worry renewing the registration! It also has to be 30 to 37 feet long, rear bedroom, and one slide.
