Finally was able to get the whole family together and look at an 1191 and Man were we impressed. Plenty of room to move around. Sleeping for everyone and of course the fight for the bunk LOL. Now just need to figure out which options we want, Cause it was Loaded and I really dont think I need all the bells and whistles. We also were able to look at a 2185 travel trailer which was kinda nice just would not look as cool with my DODGE

I like the 1191 floor plan a lot too. The slide doesn't need to be out to use the space or get to the head.

Try looking at tent option for 1191 ,we like ours. It would add room for family.

We LOVE our 1191 as well. Very comfortable with a family of five. Have slept nine (four adults and five kids). It was a little tight but we survived. The tent is the way to go. Sleeps tons of kids and stores tons of "stuff" during the day. Morning condensation in the tent is the only ongoing issue we have. It does look good on a Dodge 3500! Add some airbags, shocks and extended bump stops and your good to go. Even pull a ski boat with no issues.

I had an 05 1191 and one of the best features was the ability to use everything with the slide retracted.
I know the new ones have a deeper slide out and makes the dinette much larger, but are you still able to use it with the slide retracted.
