lots2see,
your new table looks good to me, I may have to steel your idea and use it until the day Mama finds something else she likes?
jc2,
thanks for the link. they have a small fold up table for $30 that would work for now and I think it would be nice to keep for anytime we might need a small table in the future.

Really easy to do. Lowe's already has the 24" x 24" square cut plywood pieces. Or you could go with a 24" x 24" round top. They have those too. Less than $15 depending what you get. You can stain it or choose a paint color to match your upholstery.

To make the round edge DH used the metal round piece that came off the existing leg and traced that onto the wood and cut it.

We have the wheel well underneath our table too so the single leg worked perfect and put a rug down between the bench seats on ours. The table stay put while towing, no need to tie it down to anything like you would a free standing table.

Last year MaMa said she wanted a new dining table for the trailer with an extension. Looked everywhere... Bingo finally found what she wanted and installed it last summer. She loves it and I'm happy. Take a look here:
Dining table. We bought the Wall Hugger model because one side stays stationary next to the window. The legs don't move out just the table top.
Happy trails,

If you're anywhere near the area of Mesa, try Fox Furniture on Main Street in Mesa. They carry smaller furniture for park models, motorhomes and trailers. There's also a similar store in Yuma out in the Foothills area. Can't remember the name.
