Reading through the comments creates more questions. When hooking up to a water soucre I would think that you go filter first then regulator then rv. If that is correct does it matter how far away the regulator is from the inlet to the rv? Does it matter how far apart the regulator is from the filter?......

We've done it this way for years:
Campground water spigot -> pressure regulator -> in line water filter -> water hose -> camper.

I have found that without a pressure regulator the TT is more subject to leaks, particularly where the hoses connect to the faucet fittings under the sinks. As stated water pressure varies dramatically from CG to CG.

yes I have had trouble with elcheapos in not providing enough flow. didn't ever use one long enough to see if it would fail for pressure however. the watts are whole house regulators.

Then you didn't use the High flow model.
For some reason a few people that have bought the Watts regulator get defensive when someone suggests something else.

The better Camco reg. works perfectly for our RV's.

Scott, Camping World has a high flo by Valterra the flows 50 to 55 psi, is that about what your Camco flows. Also do you have a link to someone who sells the better Camco?
