You didn't provide near enough info for any help. Here's some info that would be helpful:

1) is the slide hydraulic or electric?

2) Have you turned off the power switches to the house and chassis batteries?

3) how far out does it go in what period of time?

If HWH, your retract solenoid has a leak, most likely internal if no fluid is obvious @ "T" handle. Replace to repair slide creep.

My bedroom slide has been doing that for about the past 2 years, it takes it about a month to creep out about 3 inches. So as long as it does not creep out driving down the road, I just say forget it. It's on a 06 Winnebago HWH system.

Is your battery connected and charged? If no battery very possible the brake in the motor is not engaged. If you're at a slant guess what.

If you have a hydraulic leak, internal or external, your slide will do this. Either one is not good and you slide could eventually fail. Murphy's law says this will happen at the worst possible time. You might also be low in fluid at the reservoir. Check that first. If it's all ok, then have the cylinder checked. I would not let it go, especially if you've met Mr. Murphy before......Dennis

First thing you need to state is if you have a rack and pinion slide or hydraulic slide. Guessing at the age of the coach it’s rack and pinion which would mean no leaks. If it is R&P read up on how to manually put in your slide. If it states you need to disconnect a motor lead, then you know you have a brake inside the motor. Otherwise every time you took a corner a slide would come out (assuming no other locking mechanism.)

The rear slide on our 98 Pace Arrow with hydraulic slides has been doing this since we bought it used 5 years ago. We just use a 2x4 cut to length as a slide lock (I had something like the slide lock pictured above and I found the 2x4 works better - the lock wasn't quite the right length and would slip and eventually one of the ends got damaged). If you use a slide lock, you have to make sure you put it up against something that's re-inforced (e.g. slide frame) otherwise the slide movement will push it through the wall.

It's something I eventually would like to get fixed but I have no idea where to fix it. A few years ago the motor on the hydraulic pump failed and it became apparent that no one has any idea what parts to use to replace it. The original manufacturer (Hydra Slide I think) has long gone out of business and there are no markings on any of the parts. The best Fleetwood could do was put me in touch with someone who's gathered spare parts and is usually able to fix them but he requires the whole assembly be sent to him. We ended up simply getting the motor rebuilt (which was probably as or more expensive then getting a new motor) simply because we couldn't just replace it.

Thanks for all the info. It was a 96 suncruiser with hwh slideout. Found resevoir and pump, not low on fluid. Also having problem with back jacks not going all the way back. Dry lubed them and one goes up now , the other half way.
