The extensions come in 3/4" and 1 1/4". I was going to try 3/4 first but couldn't fine any locally. I ended up buying 1 1/4", and now feel the 3/4 might of been too short. It all depends on the lenght of you tire valve stem. Mine were short to begin with, so 3/4 might not of been long enough to get the inflator on without bending and stressing the valve stem.

I have the pressure transmitter on 6 tires, no extensions. Considering getting extensions, since nearly impossible to remove transmitter and inflate. Anyone have suggestions? Looks like most say to get metal (ridgid) extensions, but then have to dismount the tire. Maybe wait till I need new tires.

I use a standard-size air chuck on my air compressor that reaches the inner valve stems no problem-
However, it's important to install the outer wheel on the studs so that one of the 'holes' in the outer wheel overlaps where the valve stem is on the inner wheel, so you can just stick the air chuck through the outer 'hole' to reach the inner valve stem.
Hope that helps-

If you look at your rims the is a small ( approx 1/4") hole outside the mounting holes ring. In the case of dualies these holes must match up when the wheels are mounted resulting in the holes in the rims properly matching up.

I would just check the outer tires as you probably don't need any air in the inners anyway.
Just sort of kidding - use a long handled air chuck.

I use the long one but added about 8 inches of 1/8th pipe to it so I can get a good grip on it.. Works great.. On mine I have stainless hubcaps I have to pull to check the rear.. They look nice but a PIA..

What brand is this long handled air chuck? Where can I buy one?

The setup is called a 'Dually Valve'
This isn't a great picture but it does show where the stems come out.
These stems are solid brass; totally rigid.
They are available from (among other places):
Tire-Man.com
Stu I have those on my dually. They work great.
