We have been snowbirding in Yuma and are going to head back north in a couple of weeks. We plan to stop and stay at a few places for a few days at a time to explore and consider for future years stay. I am looking for suggestions in the Lake Havasu area. We do have 2 small dogs we are traveling with, so that has to be considered for us.

I would love to have television and internet, but it isn't a necessity. I am hoping there are some experienced folks out here with some ideas for us. Thanks in advance!!

Yes, Oregon will be our final destination, until next winter. We came down I-5 and stopped and visited friends in California on the way down. We really haven't done any sightseeing in that area. We are wanting to investigate a few parks on the way home and thought we would look at some places as we slowly work our way north. We don't want to hit I-5 until we are well past LA, so thought we would wander around and visit parks and see where we might want to return to for a longer stay in the future.

The Parker strip is much more beautiful than Havasu or any of the parks in Havasu. The one exception is Havasu Springs resort. You can stay for $10 a night but have to sit thru a presentation which is pretty painless.

We also have stayed at Crazy horse. Nothing special but it works fine. We sometimes boondock at Craggy Wash, just north of the airport. Also agree that Parker- or just north of it at the La Paz campground is beautiful. Tv or internet not so good tho...

Beautiful area you should have a great time even for a short stay. We had parked our rig and had a condo so never stayed at any of the parks. Good Luck and have fun.
