I just picked up a Portable Waste tank. We end up at SP's alot with no sewer hookups and are fine unless we have company, but when we do, the gray tanks fill fast. My question is where do you store the tank while towing? Ladder? Truck? Bracket underneath?

I have a small one and it will fit in one of my storage bays but have seen many tied to ladders.

My blue tote hangs from my rear ladder, positioned there by some ball bungees. It has travelled several thousand miles with no problem, but we do change out the bungees every year, just to be sure.

Most of the time I carry mine in the truck but this new TT has a "bike" rack under the rear bumper and I could easily carry it there, particularly if I think it will be needed more than it is on most trips.

We store ours in the back of our Suburban BUT seldom use it and NEVER for Black Tank contents.

Ours goes in the back of the truck. Would like to fashion a bumper mount for it at some point.

In the storage area, but have seen many on the rear ladder. Have been thinking about mounting under the 5er and also putting the spare tire there.

Right now mine is in the truck bed. But I have also carried on the ladder on the ladder carrier with ratchet straps. Just depends on where we are going and what we are carrying. We use for both Grey and Black with a macerator pump. With a 2 week stay at a SP they are dandy to have.
