On my 97 Presidio 39D the front curb side slide is not centered in the opening. The rear side has actually been scraping. Does anyone have any idea what it takes to center the slide?

Is this something new or has it always been that way? Is the opening between the slide and wall the same from top to bottom?

On my slide there are adjustable roller guides mounted on the wall of the motorhome at the top ends of the slides. Perhaps one of them is out of adjustment or broken.

I haven't looked at the top. There are guides at the bottom but I see no adjustment. This is a fairly recent development. The gap is the same top to bottom but is much less on the rear side. It has actually scraped the slide. I had to remove the wiper as it tore into the steel core.

Blame it on all those jackrabbit starts you've been doing.

If this is something new something has come loose to let it move to one side. If it is electric look in the basement at the tracks to see if one has come loose. Moving the slide is best done by the factory.
