We don't have a bucket list. We just "wing it" for most trips. We've found anytime we try to put something on a "to-do" list it really complicates matters so we let things happen as they will and do what we can/when it works out and call ourselves lucky!

That is what we do while on the road. I know some people plan out every night's stop before leaving home-- we DON'T. We have pulled into some places we thought we would spend one night and end up spending a week and of course the opposite-- places that sound like we would want to spend a week and end up leaving the next morning.
But particularly on planning something as big as a sail boat trip (last one from Galveston Bay, Texas to the Abacos, Bahamas and back) or a driving trip to the southern end of South America, it takes us a lot more work to make everything fall into line.

I have been working on my "bucket list" the past 5 years - and it is not getting any shorter!!!! Why? Well, it's not that I haven't crossed any off, it is that I keep adding more Ain't life grand. I hope to visit all the national parks, I am making a dent in that list, many more to go, it is great to see the beauty of the USA.
Brett, thanks for sharing your knowledge of all things engine - you have responded to all my posts - even the ones where it is very apparent that "I am clueless" - even though I don't always understand the mechanics, I appreciate the education.

Do not know if they will take me after heart and eye surgery and I have problems with Retta letting me sell enough possessions to pay the fees. Maybe after a few years if will be cheaper than it is today.

Wally,
WOW. And I though a trip to South America was "way out there"!
Are you already practicing your "Beam Me Up Scotty"?
Sorry, I had to change "Bridge" to "Bride"-- too hard to explain to Dianne and wouldn't want to see you in the dog house!

I added one thing to mine this fall (while in New Zealand) and took care of it the same day. The whole trip, including 3 weeks in Australia had been on our bucket list for a while. Great trip.

We sold our sailboat last summer. We had sailed the Atlantic from Maine to the far southern Bahamas while living aboard for almost 8 years. It was a big item on our bucket list and we loved it!
The next item on our list to tour the US National Parks, so we bought a 2004 Tiffin Phaeton. We plan to head out in the spring and begin our next great adventure.
Trip planning is giving us a bit of trouble! Not quite sure how to organize it.

We have no bucket list. We just go where the setting sun and the Lord leads us.
