I am tired of trying to figure out what is chinese******and what is genuine Made in the USA.

I am tired of replacing chinese parts in products advertised as made in USA.

Weber was wrong and shouldn't have done it. I don't like to see these lawsuits but Weber could have avoided it with a little honesty upfront.

Well, you can surely fill out your claim and get your $2.00 and then all will be right in the world. How do you know that the parts you are replacing in your advertised "made in USA" items came from China?' I took a quick glance at a few items around my house and none of the individual parts I could see have any indication as to origin. Maybe your "Made in the USA" items had crappy parts made right here in the good ole USA.

Maybe it is because those parts are stamped "Made in China"

I don't want money, I want Corporate honesty on Origin. You perhaps don't open up many machines to see what is inside. I have spent many hours and many dollars replacing Chinese parts that failed while similar units with USA parts have a very low rate of failure.

Dang it!
Another $5 lost!
I have never owned a Weber grill of any kind!

I can't imagine why anyone would join such a farce, just to enrich a law firm!

I suspect you have not checked many of the parts used in your so-called Domestic Autos and Trucks lately?

I agree with some parts of this thread , especially about the lawyers, Yogi had it right. Something that is missing from the proposed settlement is that Weber should be required to post notices regarding the suit and proposed settlement in each and every newspaper, magazine and circular that advertised their products during that time period. In CA it is not necessary to register the marketing survey the mfgs call warrenty registration forms. Many of us feel it is none of their business what our income is or my race or age, but it is their responsibility to try and notify all who may have purchased their products in the same manner they advertised to sell them.

I have a Baby Weber(I think it doesn't say anywhere what the model is and I didn't buy it so I don't know or even care. It is a so, so grill but I liked the Turco that was dropped and damaged beyond repair better so I won't bother helping the liars that are representing the plaintif.
