The DW and I have decided to sell our TT. We just can't see keeping it with a floorplan we don't like.

The Philly Expo Center is having their RV show soon, so my question is, would I be wrong to take the TT to a parking lot very near the RV show and put For Sale signs on it?

You should have permission to park it on private property but it might get you some increased visibility.

Unless you want to hold a "super secret" sale, where the only one that knows it's for sale is you.

Govt. studies have shown that type of sale has poor results.

I have sold may things over the years. I always make the sign show year, price and condition. I also post what it has, Std stuff like holding and water tank size ect and extras. on sheet stuck up beside the for sale sigh. More information causes more intrest..

Sounds like a good idea to me! Even if you can't park it in a parking lot, a legal spot curbside will do the same thing. Check local ordinance for street parking though, may need to be attached to TV to do that.

Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know much, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom.

If you have the time to sit in your unit this will do two things for you. You can show off the inside and answer questions from interested parties.

Also, if you find someone who wants it, you will be available to deal with them before they go into the show and find another unit.

It all depends on what the local laws say on the subject. I've seen a lot of RV shows that would have you ticketed or towed and many other places that wouldn't even notice.
