Can you use more than one receiver with the tailgater? Also is there a way to use a splitter to get the same program on the back TV has what is on in the front.
Thanks for any comments!

I'm not really familiar with the Tailgater but any dish with dual LNB can be used with up to 4 receivers with a multiswitch.
As far as watching the same content on the back as the front, assuming you're using an external receiver (i.e. not the tuner in the front TV), the selector switch that comes with most motorhomes will allow the same source to be watched on front and back.

Do you mean the Wineguard Carryout? If it is, 2 is the max it will support, but they must be watching the same sat.

Nope.

You don't need a splitter. The VIP211k has HDMI, component, composite, and RF outputs. So you connect one TV to HDMI and maybe connect the RF to the coach's cable system & the other TV.

I have not bought a Tailgater (yet) but it is my understanding it only has one coax connection from it. That would go to a single ViP211k receiver.
I do have a ViP211k receiver (with a basic tripod dish). I simply connected the existing trailer coax (that originally connected to the park cable) to the RF output of the ViP211k receiver. The bedroom TV gets the same program selected for the living room TV. Living room TV is connected to the HDMI output of the receiver.

In theory you can add receivers till your wallet is empty. All you need is the proper SWITCH. HOWEVER the Tailgater is a "Dome" class antenna (Dish 300 class) and this means that it can only see ONE satellite at a time.
So if you want to watch say NASA while partner watches "Days of our Life" ...
no problem
But if partner wants to watch say Hallmark.. Big problem.

. . . because the first two are on the same satellite and the last is on another satellite, Correct?

That is true. To view more that one sattlite at a time, you need more than a single LNB, on the antenna.

Not true, the Tailgater logs on to 110, 119, & 129 (if in sight) for signals to the 211 receiver.

Yes, true... The Tailgater only "sees" one satellite at a time, and re-aims itself to the other two satellites as needed based on the channel selected.
