My nephew just bought an 06 396 rdds 5w. I have to go to Bend Or. next week and pick it up for him. Does anyone out there have one and well does it pull. And have you had any problems with the RV itself.

Thanks

We had a 06 Open Road and it was a nice unit but we did have frame issue with it, it cracked near the bedroom and also the pin box failed got it fixed and got rid of it. I had big hopes for this manufacture but they could not survive.
Towed fine we had 3 axles on this one, good luck but check the pin box.

Thanks for the info, only have to haul it home about 600 miles. Then it will be parked and used fulltime while my nephew builds his second stick and brick.

probably doesn't help, but we have a 2007 Open Road 38' 359RL3S- when towing, you don't even know its behind you. Very smooth. Have not had a problem with anything in or outside the trailer. Bought new in May 07. We use it for 5 months in Arizona each winter..good product.

I also have an 07 open road, bought jan of 07. It tows great and the frame and pinbox show no signs of trouble. We fulltime in it and it is holding up just fine.As long as the tires are not falling apart you should get it there and it will do the job.
