Sure, it's a nice looking rig and it seems you did well on the price. But, far more importantly, you're in for some of the best times of your live's. Especially with the kids as young as they are. None of you will ever forget the adventures. And the memories....................Priceless.
Take a lot of pictures and keep them in a safe place.
Would that I could go back and re-live my years with my kids.
God bless and stay safe.

Congrats on your purchase. Have fun with it and enjoy.
You being new to this type of vehicle, your views around it is limited. Be careful and watch out for the kids. you never know where they might be. Accidents do happen every day, and we would rather not hear of one from your corner of the country. Enjoy.

I don't know if I should say congratulationts to you, Brad and the beautiful kids or to Brad and his lovely family but it sure looks like all of you are really in for a treat. We started tent camping when our kids were 4 and 5 and the are now 49 and 50. They still remember places we went and the fun we had and don't hesitate to tell friends about it. The youngest has two kids, a boy ten and a girl 12, Mom and Dad both work and so we provide much of the DGKs travel experiences and they love it. Both are in Scouts and can teach others many of the skills needed to have a great camping experience.
As you grow into your rig and begin to really travel don't forget us, we have a wealth of information regarding maintenance, repair, replacement and upgrading of your rig even though you don't need it now someday you will and we here on the forums will be glad to help. Someday when your kids are planning your senior care, they will think about the next ten or twenty years of camping with you and maybe you'll get just a little nicer senior home. Just kidding, you'll all love it. and God Speed.

Thank-you everyone for the kind comments! It really re-affirms in my mind that we made the right choice. I work a crazy job. It is very fast paced and stressful. I have a blackberry, a tablet and a laptop and I have a hard time pulling away from all three. My wife said "We are buying a motorhome darnit...and we are going to park it outside of cellphone range!" I think this will do just that and provide some incredible memories for my kids.
We are on our maiden voyage this weekend. A simple overnighter about 1.5 hours away. We are expecting all kinds of flubs and it should bring some good laughs along the way. We are stopping at the Springfield MO Basspro Shops on our way back to stock up on some camping gear that we know we'll want after that first night.
Wish us luck! My wife will post our adventure on the blog and I will post the link again!
Cheers folks!
