I have been on both sides of the issue, been stuck myself and helped others get un-stuck. Thats the way I(and many of Us here) Roll.
I will try to find a pic of the worst stuck I have been in, literly 4 trucks chained together to pull my rig out from impending doom at Pismo. Later that day after things settled down, I went to town and got 2 cases of beverages and stopped by the rescuers camp to offer them thanks. They did not want to accept the offerings until I said I would go back to camp and get the rest of the crew and we all could sit down and share the stories and "frosties".

I can still remember our family getting stuck in the sand when I was little (circa 1970). We were on vacation and dad buried the family's Ford Ranger up to the axles on the beach at the Russian River. There were some teenage kids goofing off nearby and they helped dad dig out. Dad was so relieved that he drove back with a case of Coors for the kids. It made sense at the time.
