Anyone every removed this Keystone Raptor Part? It is a tray in the passenger side main compartment. As you can see, it just holds "stuff". It is made of plastic but in order to get it out, I have to remove a bunch of caulking and metal channel that is screwed on top of the plastic rim/out edge. I can't see it from the bottom of the Raptor because it has that black foam paneling on it. I am just curious what the cradle looks like because I would like to drop it down and add some more batteries there.

Sorry, I haven't done that but was thinking about batteries there also. Please post pics if you do it.
Thanks

If adding batteries there, how would you vent them outside? Always thought batteries needed vented in this case.

I would drop the bottom out of it and lower it about 4-6" using steel angle (creating a cradle). Right now it is 13-14" deep and needs to be a little deeper. I will fab up a top and make it a sealed area with the bottom either being completely exposed or vents added to it.

…and I thought I brought a lot of stuff with me…kind of shows the adage, the more room you have the more stuff you bring.”
I figure if I have it bring it.
Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
Now, back on topic...sorry.

I'm pretty sure that's meant to be a cooler to hold ice.

Do you keep the other two in the front next to the generator? I would imagine your raptor is very similar to mine in the front area.

. Yes, my master plan is to get them out of there and to get them back to that area from the original post. I am also toying with the idea of putting 4 of the batteries in the battery compartment. Another Raptor owner did it (WildBill?) by dropping the bottom out and moving things around.
