Hi there

Friends have a Sunpro exterior windshield sun screen on their Hawkins Class A and love it. There're some real advantages in such a screen such as keeping the sun's rays from directly contacting the glass and heating things up even more.

Problem: they don't seem to make them anymore. Does anyone have such a screen? Where'd you get it? Do you like it?
Thanks in advance,

braeworth

Doing a search brought up a Sunpro site.

I just bought and installed a windshield and two side window covers. I purchased them from ShadePro in California. It was $279 for the three covers. Good quality and I installed them myself(so must of been easy).......619-328-1620 google for website!

To each their own but I really don't like drilling holes in the rv.

Jimgo, I got the snaps for mine....They were easy to install, drilled a small 1/4 inch deep 1/8 inch drill bit hole where you need each snap...add a small amount of silicone sealant before screwing in the fastener to prevent any leakage. I only received four snaps for the windshield cover and 4 each for the driver and passenger window.

We have SunGuard which we've had on our last two coaches. We had them come out to our site in Palm Springs. They custom make and install them on site. About $300 for windshield and four side windows. Includes wiper covers. They give you a choice of snaps or twist locks. We have the snaps but in the future I'll get the twist locks. MCD also make nice shades. We got ours from the RV Toy Store...They will also make tire covers and mirror covers if you like....Dennis

I do not remember what brand we have. We got velcro so we did not have to drill or have pull on the holes. 5 pieces, includes front drivers & passenger windows and wiper covers. See through.
