Our little kitty (Nikki) more often called Peanut, crossed the Rainbow Bridge this morning. She was 23 yrs & 2 months old. It was time. At the end she could barely walk & was almost deaf. In the end, she only weighed 5 lbs. She was the sweetest thing her whole life. Shy around strangers but friendly to all of them. She didn't like camping tho. When we first got her, we would take her camping with us in a tent. Didn't matter how hot the tent got, she would hide under a sleeping bag, so we stopped taking her. She was happy to be home & we were happy to not have a litter box along. She was an indoor cat since she was fully declawed & only outside on a rope at home when we were outside in the yard with her. She never wanted to be outside for very long tho. She was even afraid of the living room ceiling fan & would never walk under it. She acted more like a dog than a cat following me around everywhere & sitting at the door waiting for me to come home from work every day. Very sadly, she will be missed.

Sorry to hear about your long time friends passing. It is difficult to loose one you're lived with and loved for so long. You certainly have my condolences.

Wow! Sorry for your loss. That kitty had a long and happy life, and a double happy one because she had some really good, caring pals like you. Keep her in your hearts.
