So sorry for your loss.... Twenty-three is a very good run and it sounds like you all enjoyed it. There's a kind of balance, I think. On the one hand, you know you got a lot of time with her and she with you. On the other hand, it is very hard to say goodbye to someone who has been a part of your life for so many years. So many changes we go through in that amount of time, and when you have a cat that's been there through all of that, it leaves a pretty big hole.

Sounds like she had a long and happy life, but no matter how long they live it is really hard to have them go. Remember she is now young and playing on the other side of the bridge while she waits for you. You have our complete sympathy.
