Hi,

We have the above, I know we have a GMC Van Chassis, but what chassis type is it? We have the 23.5 foot long class C if that makes a difference.

I understand that there are three types, the 1500, 2500 and 3500 I think...

We need to buy a new battery for it.

If it is a chevy/gmc chassis it is mostly the 3500 version (definitely if it has dual wheels). Doesn't really make any difference for a battery. Get the biggest battery your budget can afford that will fit in the space available.

Thanks much yes it definitely is the double wheel axle in the rear sorry forgot to mention that so it sounds like it's the 3500 chassis.

Oh by the way is another name for the chassis the Savanna?

In 2004 the 23A was available on the Chevy 3500HD chassis. The 23W model, with one slide, was available only on the Ford chassis. I don't think there were major changes between 2003 and 2004.
