Usually travel Rte. 81 to Rte. 66 in Virgina to Rte. 17 and pick up Rte. 95 in Fredericksburg. Looking to go Rte. 81 all the way down to Rte. 77 in Virgina then picking up Rte. 26 to cut across to Rte. 95.

Which way would be the best to travel with a truck camper?

I would check on the road construction on 81 nearing 77. They were blasting and detouring the traffic off 81. I don't know what the current status is.

There are some long steep grades on 77/26. If that is of any concern, IMHO take 66.

I would skip the I-95 part. I would take US301S at Orangeburg SC to I75 at 326 just north of Ocala to the FL Turnpike to the new Orlando Bypass straight to Disney/Orlando. No I-4

Thanks ploiselle! Checked Virgina's DOT site and found the construction you are talking about. I think we will be OK to miss it from the schedule that they have listed.
