Does anyone know where I can get a cover for the 7 pin connector on my trailer? Just want to keep the water / dirt out of it while not towing. Tried etrailer but the only one they have gets bad reviews.
Thanks,
Tom

Tom,
What I did was buy another receiver plug. Needed a simple, convienient place to mount it, so I mounted it without wires on the top of my battery box. It was that was for a year and while in Canada last summer, saw a guy have his trailer running lights on at the campground and thought that looked kind of cool. So I wired a hot and ground to the battery cover through the lid and put a light and a two way switch (running light swithc for a boat)on it. I now have a place for the trailer plug to plug into for protection and I can light a light at the nose of the trailer or light up all the trailer running lights by just throwing a switch. Total cost, about $12.00.

I just let mine hang. No water is going to run up into it.

Plug Guard will do a better job at keeping the 7 pin clean.

Since I use a bucket to cover my tongue jack, I drilled a hole for the 7 pin connector and slip it in the bucket, I also drilled holes to hang the safety chains and brake cable.
