I'm about to get my truck this week & now a friend of mine is shopping for a TC as well so I'll have a camping friend

Anyways while shopping he found that to back under a TC with a dually I will need this hinge?

Is this true?
The truck I took it off of was a SRW.

& looks like this.

Hi: Yes you will have to get swing out brackets for the dually, the jacks will not clear the fenders.

The Rieco-Titan brand ones will fit them all, the Happijac brand won't work with your jacks and the Atwoods are spaced for atwood's bolt pattern.

I bought a set of Hijacker swing out brackets for a $100, then took them over to a friend of mine to beef them up a bit. I ended up still needing to add an additional piece of plate steel to get the amount of spacing I needed.

The big three brands will run between $199-250 for a set new, the Hijackers around $100-150.

P.S. On the Hijackers the part welded to the center section is the end ya bolt to your camper .

I also center drilled mine and added an additional bolt hole on the side that bolts to the camper
