Just took delivery of my 2002 Keystone Springfield 5th wheel. Got a heck of a deal on her from a local person.
Been a Rv'er for 20 years, but have always been in a RV. Thought we would try this out for a couple years and see how we do with it. Always thought it is more affordable for full timing, and the cost associated with it. So why not!
Have to figure out where to put all my stuff, but that is gonna be half the fun. Then maybe will start looking for a 3/4 ton diesel to pull it with. Friends are already calling me nuts for buying the rig first, but my thought was buy what you like, then find something to pull it with.
I am sure I will be lurking the forums for all of my dumb questions. Feels like I am starting all over again!
Wish me luck!

As far as what am I towing now. I do not have a truck yet, we figured it would take us a couple of months to get her all dialed in the way we want her, not to mention, coat of wax, roof cleaning, solar panel, tires, brakes, me learning to hook and unhook the rig from the truck, driving it, Mamma bears touches etc...
It will be a weekend project for now til we save up some money for a truck. Probably 2000 F250 Diesel. Then have to find the right hitch get truck wired.. This is all so new..
