Thinking about installing storage cabinets over the cab area. Don't need it for sleeping space but would like to build in the TV there. Any body ever done this to older Class C?
Given the problems that we have experienced with leakage in the cabover area, I am glad that it is open and easily accessible. While we will continue to use it for light storage, I don't see building anything that would limit access.

I personally wouldn't do it because of potential leak issues, but there is thread here somewhere with pics and maybe video on installing an entertainment center in the overhead. If I can find it, I'll post a reference.
Our 1998 Safari has the entertainment package layout with tv, storage, and a single bed that slides under the cabinets. It is a very nice design. The rv is in storage and I don't have a photo of it but, we'll be using it soon and I'll get a photo of it and post it so you can see the design.
We're not here for a long time, let's have a good time.
