I was talking to my neighbor across the field (1/4 mile away) and was asking him why he has one of several very large green houses with the lights running all night?
He has installed a couple of different types of solar panels for power to grow Organic tomatoes and other stuff for a 24hr indoor project, to get a jump on the normal growing season here for sale at the Framers markets around here.
He has 4-Brand new(1yr old)Evergreen 210W A panels, Model# ES-A-210-FA3, still in OEM packing material, that he did not use and offered them to me, for $300 p/panel. He had ordered a pallet of them and only used 24 of the 28 total.
I was just about ready to order 4 of the Phono panels for $253 p/panel + $250 for shipping to me.These are one good looking panels as compared to the other one he has.
I am wondering about any warranty issues that may pop up, with these panels, he told me that Evergreen was bought out by a chinese company and they are still made here in the US and china to US standards, He is finding the paper work for me.

Not true. The technology for the string ribbon - ie, the patent rights - were bought by a Chinese company. Evergreen solar itself is in liquidation from it's bankruptcy and has not made any panels for several months.
