Hey UP,at least you remembered about the water line when it was still in the yard. It might have been a real bummer to come into the trailer after the races and have someone flood your new work. Have some fun out there, bud!

Hey we're back! I got lucky on the stapled waterline repair. Was able to feed a new line under the floor and carpet without having to pull anything up. Took only 15 minutes.
Got plates for it today and going to take a shake down run this afternoon, just to be sure. I know I've added weight and want to make sure there's the right amount of tongue weight and that it handles well before I leave tomorrow. I'm pretty pumped about camping this weekend!

On your rear window, just go to a hardware store and get a piano hinge. They aren't that expensive. That way you can keep your window cover.

That would work for hinging it, but would let water through. The cover on my front window has a channel mounted on the trailer and another on the cover. They mate together to form a hinge but it doesn't let water through. The water is diverted to each side of the window which makes good sense to me.

True. I didn't think about that. I assumed that there would be some sort of a gasket between the cover and the body. I guess I don't know anything. lol Just kidding

Yes! Different profile but same concept. But $13 per foot!? I'll stick to my home made rain diverter. Will do the same thing for a fraction.
Took the girl for a ride tonight. Pulled real nice, my Tundra had no problem with it at all. Tracked nice and straight, felt like the tongue weight was perfect. Had to buy a 6" drop hitch to get it level but that was expected cause this thing sits low, too low for the woods. If I get into any ruts I'm going to break a holding tank I just know it. I plan on doing an axle flip when I get time which should give me an extra 4" of clearance.
Leaving tomorrow afternoon, can't wait! Got it all loaded and ready to go. Will be back Monday with pics, see ya then.

To say I'm merely jealous would be an under statement.
Just spent 3 nights in the Big Sky Free skier parking lot, met some fun peeps and got the dreaded get out of here letter.... ha ha ha ha
as we were debating 4 more RVs pulled in and set up camp.....
We had 2 in my little TC and 2 in a buddies pull behind "A" frame pop up.
Diddums would have been perfect but just not there.
