Short version..bought at RV show 2 weeks ago, DW is not happy about waiting until mid April to pick up. We're on the prairies, it's WINTER still, I'm thinking to do a proper PDI we'd like to use water, etc. at the dealer, plus just spend time doing it right....not at -10 C !!
Plus campsites don't open until May 5th or so...and I'd have to clear 2 feet of snow from backyard to park unit. Am I right to wait for warmer weather ??
Or just being a wuss ?

Yeah I would wait. We just bought one too but waiting to pick up till April some time. I dont want to drag home a brand new trailer on roads that still have salt on them. The trailer will never see salt when I own it so no sense in bringing it home through the salt.
Yep...I'd wait too.......know where your coming from. I'm on the western side of the province and its cold here too! Another 3-4 weeks, by then it should be warmer.

p.s.; while not as cold here (it's only -8 C this mid-morning), we love winter camping. No one else out, quite, oh and did I mention cold
We bought ours in October and I have scheduled to bring it home two weeks from now. May as well let them store it for free and I was told that warranty would not take effect until date of delivery. If your wife insists on bringing it home early, show her the shovel to make room. Have fun with your new toy.
Another vote for waiting. As long as it's under warranty, which it will be, you'll be fine. Plus, you can't test the water-based functions in that weather any way.

GO FOR IT! Just watch the weather closely. I just drove from Centeral South Dakota to Denver to trade in our old 35 ft NuWa 5th wheel for a new 2011 Northern Lite 10'2" CDSE. The wind was a bear and we got some snow in SD on the way back but I have the new camper in the driveway and I'm prepping it for summer!
