When I was the MI State Good Sam Director and since as a chapter member we have worked directly with the three CW stores in MI. I have never had a problem with any of the stores but I have and did work with members who did. Almost 90% were the individuals own fault not reading the sales ads, miscommunication, or service problems caused by a manufacture/unknown individuals earlier work. You have to understand RVs are not like other vehicles in that no 2 RVs are built identical even the same years and floor plans can have different plumbing, wiring, lights, chassis, appliances, flooring, cabinets, and electronics.
In the case were it was a product or service problem the managers took care of the issues promptly and professionally. You have some people no matter how hard you try to do everything right they are going to complain.

We have had mixed issues with Camping World. We had a Banks Power System installed on our National RV Sea Breeze and in less then a year CW had to replace the clamps that broke. The service manager said they looked like they where over tightened. CW fixed it without an issue. Thats one I have say is great about Camping World they stand behind their work. Last fall I took our 2006 Encore to have them winterized, they pump anti freeze into the ice maker. There is a valve behind the access panel for the refrigerator that shuts off the water to the ice maker. I thought they would know that? I normally I would do it myself, didn't have time this last year. We have had good and bad service from dealers all around the US. The worse was Pedata RV Tucson AZ. The best Freightliner LaCrosse WI.

We have all heard horror stories on repairs on our rigs at CW and other shops. With the varied brands, age, and types of RVs that come in to CW it's a wonder there aren't more. I think CW should be supported for no other reason that it has the greatest inventory of RV related products of any brick and mortar store of its kind. I have had them do a Wave 6 installation and the job was done promptly and professionally. Most interaction with their employees has been positive.

In answer to your question. I have seen many camping worlds and I will buy items from them but I will not let them touch my coach. And do not like the work they do

That's kind of subjective.

How many people are "all" having problems with Camping World???

I have never had a problem with them and most people that don't have a problem don't complain or comment one way or another.

On the other hand people that have problems are always ready to complain and some are justified. You read about problems but I suspect they are in the minority of Camping World shoppers.

Have you ever shopped at Camping World???
