Camping World has them on sale - although not sure if that's the best price.

One of you could have actually noted the OP lives in Canada and getting a Honda shipped across the boarder would be, well....
Some friends bought theirs at a farm supply store in the Portland area, I'm trying to recall the name... But it was a good price. Checking the Honda dealers in the area I think it was Coastal Farm and Ranch.
Recall, you don't have to pay sales-tax on a unit bought in Washington state
Question to the OP, are you associated with the HMCS Victoria?

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.

Lots of places have them. Those that I am aware of are:
- In Gresham at Coastal Farm and Ranch, and real close by, at Wood Village, at Camping World.
- In Redmond at Big R.
- In Bend at Starks Street Lawn and Garden, and at Pro Caliber Motor Sports.
Of those locations, I found the best price at Pro Caliber (a motorcycle shop). Of course, if you are not going through Central Oregon, it isn't worth the difference. If I recall correctly, Big R came in a close second....and, I think, they have stores throughout the state.
Regarding purchasing in Washington - you will need a ODL to eliminate the Oregon sales tax.
Enjoy your new generator. I love mine....just wish I could use it as, so far, the solar has taken care of all my needs

Eh? When did Oregon get a sales tax?
The OP is from BC, all it takes in Washington is his BC drivers license

I'm not so sure about that Washington sales tax exemption for B.C. residents...the rule that allowed for it very briefly last year was ordered suspended pending judicial review- I can't find any references to indicate that it's been reinstated.
Anyway, don't B.C. residents have to declare/pay B.C. taxes on things they bring back into the Country/Province?

No Washington tax exemption for us BC'ers, which is why he's probably looking to buy in no-tax Oregon.
Coming across the border we are subject to 12% HST, but no duty on generators.
Sometimes you'll get waved through without having to pay the tax, but it depends on the Guard's mood at the time.
Good luck, and make sure you Declare everything when you come back across with the new generator.
