Anyone want to share a campground they use near ocean ,bay ,river or lake? Boat ramp or boatless fishing. I like huntington beach murrels inlet SC. Boat ramp within a few miles,or you can fish the surf or rock jetty .Any state,gulf or atlantic side also,lets include Canada, I keep a journal with these suggestions in there.Will pick a few and plan a trip around them.

I am strictly a freshwater fisherman and I keep my favorite fishing spots to myself. It is crowded enough already.

two hands is so right about the fishing spots. I quit fishing and hunting a few years ago. I don't like elbows or lures in my face from someone casting next to me. But to tell you the true, I am thinking of starting up again, for some reason I am getting hungry for trout.

Check www.recreation.gov. What you describe is almost a STANDARD at any of the COE campgrounds.

Hunting Island State Park
surf fish (cg right on ocean)
about 1 mile down the road is free pier to fish. (open 24 hrs--hubby darn near fished that long one day/night  )
across from pier entrance is boat launching
fishing all around

Colter Bay Campground at Jackson Lake in Grand Teton National Park. Even if you don't catch fish the scenery is worth it. I know it's a long trip, but you might enjoy it.
